The Water Treatment Plant

The wastewater treatment facility went through a weatherization upgrade to help reduce the cost of heating the plant during winter. Air leaks on the roof-wall intersection on the leftside of the building allowed for significant cold air to enter and heat to escape. Also significant heat loss was found from damaged weather stripping at the main entry door and on doors isolating the Process Areas and the office. Measures were taken to rectify these issues with high density spray polyurethane foam sealing the roof-wall leakage and new weather stripping around the doors helped solved that problem.
